Understanding Islam through the concept of Blogging !
Introdution
Religion has always been the corner stone for the proper functioning of the Human Civilization. Whichever Great Civilization we take … we have always found that the recognition that there is always a “Greater Force or Power” which controls our lives, the surroundings we live in, and which controls the whole of the “Creation” … can be seen in very many “avatars”. You give different names to that power, but ultimately it means the ONE and the SAME ! … That is the god almighty … call him Lord Krishna, Allah, “Father”, or anything else.
Essentially, all the religions deal with the same “person” called “god” with his different names, as contained in different religions ! … Its because, all the religions are the work of the same GOD as he is only ONE … when GOD is himself ONE, then it is the responsibility of the people of the respective religions to understand and realize GOD, which is the main purpose of their lives.
The fact that GOD has given us the “Brains” and the ability to think … is proof in itself that we have to “Understand and Realize” … GOD … and sing his glory to our hearts content … and NOT BLINDLY FOLLOW the teachings of the religious books of the respective religions.
All the teachings contained in the Religious books are merely “instruments”, that GOD has himself given to us, through his Prophets and Gurus … which will lead us to “Understand and Realize” the GOD … and ultimately merge our souls into him … which we call as Salvation or Moksha.
Today’s Islam
In todays world, terrorism seems to be in the mouths of each and everyone.
This word “Terrorism” is in the mouths of people who term it “Divine” calling it as “Islamic Jihad”, and those people are from the Religion of Islam. And this word “Terrorism” is in the mouths of Innocent People, who are being subjected to all sorts “Insane and Mindless Atrocities” by the “Islamic Terrorists”.
Surely, Terrorism is the word which is getting attention in all the media worldwide.
I find it extremely Unfortunate and Distressing to see the name of a wonderful religion called Islam, being dragged into needless controversies and entanglements, because of this “Islamic Jihad” by few idiots who have not understood this religion properly … bringing a bad name to this Awesome Religion called Islam … and i say so inspite of being a Hindu !
Is it not a fact that we have brains, and other living creatures dont have Brains.
Now, Islamic Literature namely the Quran and the Hadith, contains all those wonderful things in the life of Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) … and the “Rules and Regulations” that People of that faith have to follow.
The fact that we have brains and the Islamic Literature contains “Teachings” … means that we have to use our brains … to “Understand” the Purport and the inner meanings contained in those literature … HOW CAN THE PEOPLE OF ISLAM BLINDLY FOLLOW THE TEACHINGS CONTAINED IN QURAN AND HADITH ? … It is to be noted, Quran itself tells that the Student of Islam should “Search” for the Inner Meanings contained in the Islamic Literature, in a Madrasa !
Understanding Islam through the concept of Blogging !
I would want to put my point across … by comparing the Teachings contained in Quran and Hadith … through the modern concept of Blogging !
Just imagine a very accomplished blogger, who writes wonderful articles in his blog. He has a wide variety of subjects to talk about, and he always manages to bring out some wonderful Blogposts, in his blog. Because of his blogging abilities and writing skills, he manages thousands of visitors in his blog everyday !
The fact that he is very good at blogging can be seen by the number of comments he receives for his almost 20 blogposts per day, and the people commenting upon his blogposts, comment in a logical and constructive way, which brings out new meanings and perspectives to the main Blogpost !
Now, let’s compare this “Blogger” with “Allah” in Islam, just for the sake of conversation !
Its said in Islam that the words contained in Quran are from Allah. This blogger can be compared with “Allah” … the “Collection of Blogposts” in his blog can be compared with Quran.
The Islamic Literature also contains Hadith which are the collection of incidents from the life of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). The comments this Blogger receives for his Blogposts can be compared with Hadith in Islam !
Now, as a follower of the Blog of this Blogger, i would see his blog, read his blogposts, try to understand what this blogger has to say, and read the comments that this blogpost has got from other readers, and judge and come to a conclusion about the Blogpost, and decide how should i “take this blogpost” ! … It helps me to know whether i understand what the blogger and the commentors have to say, and whether i agree with them … Now, considering the minute intelligence that i have got, If i dont get the real meaning that the Blogger has to say … that i approach a more intelligent man (Guru) … to help me understand in the way the Blogger wants us to understand his blogposts !
I think the Religion of Islam also, has to be understood the way we understand this Blogger as mentioned above ! … We have some wonderful teachings of Islam … they are just “Teachings” … which are meant to be “Understood using our brains” … which will help us to realise “Allah” ! … How can some people who call themselves Islamic Terrorists, BLINDLY follow the teachings of Quran and Hadith … without understading them !
This attitude of these people called Islamic Terrorists … to “blindly” follow the teachings of Quran and Hadith … is against the foundations of the Religion of Islam … which requires the student of Islam to “Search” for the meaning contained in those Islamic Literature !
“Change is the only thing which is Permanent” and all things in this universe which are already in existence after their creation … have to get destroyed … one day or the other.
The fact that these Islamic Terrorists “blindly” follow the teachings of Islamic Literature, without uinderstanding the real meanings therein … is against the “Basic Principle of Universe” which is “Change is the only thing which is Permanent” … and this gives the impression that they dont want “Change” … which is completely against this “Basic Truth of Nature”. If they think that “World will not change” or “Islam is the only Religion” … , then they are wrong !
Surely, Islam does has some “Truths” in its Islamic Literature … like the Literatures of other Religions … its because Islam is “also” a Religion Sanctioned by the Almighty God.
But, this behaviour of some ignorant and arrogant Islamic Terrorists, to “misunderstand the teachings of Islam” and subject innocent people to Islamic Terrorism … surely brings a bad name to the Religion of Islam … and if these idiots continue with their mindless Jihad, i can say with conviction, that they will be the sole reason for the doom/extinction of Islam … which would be a pity … considering the wonderful religion that Islam is ! … Interestingly, i read somewhere, that Islamic Religious Texts also prophesise the doom/extinction of Islam, in the near future !
If that is the case, if Islam ceases to exist … i wonder what will happen to all those people who are Muslims … they will not have any other “Religion” to fall back upon ! … Poor people they !
My Definition of Terrorism
I have my own definition of Terrorism. Its not only Islamic Terrorism that we are well acquainted these days.
Any “Act” which meddles with the right of people to live their lives Peacefully and Comfortably, is an Act of Terrorism.
All the people have the right to lead Comfortable and Peaceful Lives, and if their lives are being subjected to unnecessary hardships, either in the form of Bloodsheds or Otherwise, i would call that as Terrorism.
So, I would classify ”Bribery” and “Corruption” … that Indian Administration is famous for … as a form of Terrorism … as People are denied their rights, just for the sake of Money ! … Its because ”Bribery” and “Corruption” creates needless atmosphere of Fear and Apprehension in the minds of Innocent people … and they have to think repeatedly as to whether their jobs will get done or not !
