I'm so very glad that you feel that way...I am merely just looking for a religion I feel is "right" so that I can place faith in it. I beleive religion is vastly important. Although, now, I am an Agnostic, I feel that some degree of an organized religion, one feels to be right, gives one meaning in his or her life. The material world seems less important when one has a god, higher than themselves, watching after them. I'm going to continue reading your blog. I find the Hindu religion to be a beautiful one, however, quite difficult to understand. The things you discuss on your site have been vastly helpful...

Thank you,

I'm sorry...
I do not really understand what you mean when you say "its completely futile if you would want to become a 'jumping jack' wrt to religions..."
I've been reading a lot, mostly about Krishna, Kali, and Shiva. I'm quite fascinated but, so very confused. The different "characteristics" of the many gods being manifested in different ways is so very difficult for me to understand. I've learned much from reading things on the web but, there is still quite a lot left to be explained.

Thank you so very much for talking with me,

@ kali,

your curiosity about hinduism is much worth praising ...

perhaps, you could EDUCATE yourself with some articles on the net, on the subject ...

if you find that some of my articles on hinduism are very "attractive" for you to comprehend the subject, i consider it was worth putting my views on hindusim, on this blog.

moreover, its completely futile if you would want to become a "jumping jack" wrt to religions ...

cheers !

Hello! My name is Kali, what a coincidence, huh? Anyway, I belong to no particular religion. My parents raised me Agnostic so that, one day, I may decide for myself which religion is the better to place my faith in. Lately, I have been reading a lot about Hinduism. It has absolutely FACINATED me! I want to learn so very much more. If you don't mind...I would love to discuss some things with you, whenever you have time.

Thank you,

@ wajjiha,

both religions of hinduism and islam are good.

but i guess you got it wrong when you say that in hinduism people are not equal in gods eyes.

the thing you are talking about a person born in a particular caste, which you term as superior or inferior (actually a large people in hinduism also think likewise, and hence we have this problem of "caste system") is actually a measure / degree of abilities of a particular set of people.

for example, generally in todays society doctors are considered superior than a nurse. why is that its because of the acumen of doctor to handle heath problems of patients is more than that of a nurse.

same way, in hinduism if a particular soul is born in a "brahmana family" and fails to the jobs that he is expected to do, and derides people who have less "acumen", then in the next birth, his chances of being born in a family of less acumen are greater. hence, brahmanas are considered as having the greatest acumen in spirutual terms, next are kshtriyas, vyasyas and then shudras.

and if a person having a lower acumen does some meritorious deeds, then in the next birth his chances of taking birth in a brahmana family are also greater.

this is law of karma, its called justice of the lord.

perhaps the drawbacks in the teachings of islam, to fully comprehend the "eternal truth" is the reason for the eventual downfall of islam as a religion.

if you refer to your islamic texts, then you would find a concept of "qayamat" which is the end time, or the tribulation as explained in christianity, and after that "allah" would judge each and every muslim, and do justice to them. after which there would be end of islam and christianity.

also, its said that within 1500 years of the birth of islam, the religion would be doomed, as per some articles on the internet.

i have seen the thing about "kalki o tar" on the internet and a hindu brahmin ved prakash validating that Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) is the real kalki.

i would say, these are just coincidences.

i frankly think that islam and christianity are in their last days of existence. may allah bless you and your family !

cheers !
