62nd Indian Independence Day
On this wonderful occassion of 62nd Independence Day of our beloved nation India, i would like to Congratulate the people of the country, a Happy Independence Day. May god always showers his grace upon this wonderful land, which is the Punya Bhumi.
Hindus - Patience Personified
This land of India or Bharat is Punya Bhumi, and we the followers of the religion called Hinduism are the “natural citizens” of this wonderful land. In this land, we have seen the god almighty showing his grace in the form of Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Lord Buddha, Goddess Durga and Lord Hanuman. And the Great Lord knows his various avatars through which he has made this land his abode, and has become the God of Hindus in various avatars.
This Punya Bhumi of ours, has given birth to many Prophets and Gurus, whose teachings have become an integrated part of the culture of India. The always patient and highly accomodative nature of the people of this land, is the dearest virtue that our Great Lord … whom you may call as Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, Goddess Durga or Goddess Vaishno Devi … likes. And that is why, Land of India is very dear to our Almighty God !
Perhaps the Patience and reverence towards other cultures of our people can be seen with the fact that various religions like Islam, Chrisianity, etc. are very well received in our Punya Bhumi. The so-called moderate muslims would agree with me, that the Muslims of India have the freedom, more than in any other Islamic Country on this earth.
That shows the gentle nature of we Hindus and our culture, which recognizes that all the so called Religions of the world, are the work of the Prophets or Gurus, which are the people sent by God, and hence people following those faiths, should be respected.
Inspite of many attacks by people from other lands on this Punya Bhumi, the people of this country have always been at the forefront in Accomodating other faiths, and this is what makes our land the Punya Bhumi. I am Proud to declare that i took birth in this land of the great Bharata !
Tough times for Hindus in the near future.
But, it is really sad to note that people of other faiths in India, redicule and look down upon, the Gentle Nature of the Hindus and repeatedly make a mockery of the humbleness and humility of Hindus.
What is really dissappointing is that a very small proportion of Muslims, have taken advantage of the gentleness of Hindus, and have repeatedly denied the rights of Hindus in their own land. Consider the case of Ayodhya or even Jammu and Kashmir. Its really sad that the Hindus have found themselves at the receiving end, without any fault of theirs.
These “Small Proportion of Muslims” have taken name of Almighty God, whom they call Allah, and in his name, have committed many untold injustices to Hindus, which is completely wrong. They name their behaviour as “Jihad”, and as time passed, that took the form of Islamic Terrorism, which has become the Bane worldwide.
Dailogue between Hindus and Muslims the need of the Hour
I just want to remind the Hindus that India is their land, and they have the rights to conduct their religious affairs in the way they wish, and they have no obligation to take the “Permission of the Muslims” for doing so.
I am explicitly refering to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the Amarnath Land Transfer controversy in J&a and the Ram Sethu controversy. Hindu beliefs should be respected by all people, either Muslims or the DMK government in the state of Tamil Nadu. Any disrespect to Hindus and Hindu Beliefs, would become a death blow to people opposed to them.
I want to explicitly ask the Kashmiri Muslims, how can you consider the State of Jammu and Kashmir as your own land … Just a history of some 150 years in Kashmir, or majority population being Muslims … will not make Jammu and Kashmir a Muslim Land.
I am myself surprised by the ignorance of Hindus at large, dont they know that Jammu and Kashmir has been the part of their culture and religion, for the past 7000 years of the Indian Culture. Dont we find the references of the Himalayas in our Holy Scriptures ? … I would say, that is reason enough for us Hindus to consider Jammu and Kashmir as an integral part of India.
And what “Bloody Business” does Pakistan has to “Interfere in the Internal Affairs of India” ? … It knows the circumstances underwhich the partition of India took place, and it knows the circumstances underwhich, the Maharaja of Kashmir agreed to merge his “Hindu Princely State into India”. But, it seems that inspite of “repeated humiliating defeats” in various Indo-Pak wars that Pakistan faced in the hands of India, Pakistan shamelessly dares to interfere in the “Internal Affairs of India” ! … It would be better if Pakistan concentrates on its own country, which is in a mess. If not it would be very detrimental to its existence on the world map.
Blunders from Partition of India and thereafter
I would say, the biggest blunder in the history of the Indian Sub-Continent is the partition of Pre-Independence India, into India and Pakistan. It was some arrogant people in Pakistan, who asked for partition of India on religious basis, as they wanted a separate Muslim Land.
But, the Blunder that India has committed is the fact that according to the Plan of Partition, the Indian Part was not declared as a Hindu Rashtra. That is what was the basic purport and purpose of Partition, to partition the British India on a religious basis.
I guess, leaders like Jawarharlal Nehru and the Congress have some “Secular-Phobia”. Sure they have declared India as a secular state, because many Muslims have remained in India. But his decision to declare the country as a “Secular and Multi-Religious Country” was taken, as there was no other alternative left to india, many muslims stayed in India, and inaccordance with the democratic principles. But, i would say, the Congress has done the biggest blunder by not declaring India as a Hindu Rashtra. It literally means that the Plan of Partition was not implemented in its entirety, and that perhaps explains the problems that this country faces today.
If Partition 0f India on religious grounds had not taken place, there is some meaning in declaring India as a secular multi-religious state.
Ideally, India should have been declared as a Hindu Rashtra after Independence, and those muslims who didnt leave for Pakistan, should have been allowed to stay in the Hindu Rashtra on humanitarian grounds. That would be in sync with the fact that Hindus respect the people of other faiths, bringing to forefront the gentle-nature of we Hindus.
How can you declare India as a Secular Multi-Religious State, when the purpose of the Partition Plan of British India was on religious grounds ?
Then, India went to war with Pakitan due to this menace, that Pakistan created over the state of Jammu and Kashmir and Creation of Bangladesh, and Pakistan was handed a humiliating defeat. This offered some wonderful chances for India, to settle the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, by making Pakistan return the PoK, in the war treaties that were signed. Pakistan would have had no option but to return the PoK to India. Not doing so, are the blunders of the Indian State, and this country is still plagued with unwanted troubles.
I would blame the congress governments for this, which has always been on the side of Muslims. And today, the emergence of various Islamic terror elements in the country, is a result of the indirect support of the congress, owing to their policies towards the Muslims, and neglecting the Hindus.
Emergence of Hindu Rashtra
Its said in some of the Religious Prophesies, that World War III is round the corner. And the arrogance of the Islamic Fundamentalists would be one of the reasons for this.
The Congress Party of India, has a chance to survive this onslaught, by making its policies in according to the interests of Hindus, or else, the so-called Moderate and Secular Congress Party, would become Extinct.
The emergence of Hindu Rashtra is Imminent, and if not today, tommorrow the hindus will have no other option but to declare India as a Hindu Rashtra.
The question is, will hindus want to declare india as a Hindu Rashtra “now” … or will the hindus be quite contented to bear the injustices it has been subjected to, for centuries … and wait for some more time … when they would be subjected to more and more injustices like in Ayodhya and J&K.
The sooner India declares itself as a “Hindu Rashtra” or “Hindu Republic of India” … the better. India becoming a Hindu Rashtra is Imminent.
Principles of the Hindu Rashtra
Essentially, Hindu Rashtra should be such that the “Principles of Dharma” and the sanskrit saying “Sarve Jannah Sukhino Bhavantu” are followed.
That settles some of the policies of todays Hindu organizations like the BJP, VHP, RSS Shiv Sena, etc. I guess they have to engage in a constructive manner within themselves, and also engage the country to give the desired Shape of the Hindu Rashtra … through discussion … so that the “Principles of Dharma” take the centre-stage in the upcoming Hindu Rashtra.
The reality of Hindu Rashtra does not mean the people of other faiths have to fear Hindus. We Hindus recognize that they follow the teachings of other Gurus or Prophets, and hence any citizen of India would have a equal chance of development.
But, essentially in the Hindu Rashtra, the Hindu Cause will get the FIRST PRIORITY.
And last but certainly not the least … may i warn the Islamic Fundamental elements … of not only India but also the world … if they keep on continue with their mindless Islamic Jihad … their ignorance and arrogance would result in the doom/extinction of the Religion of Islam … Islam would be wiped out of the face of the Mother Earth … Naa Rehega Mecca Aur Naa Madina … the prophesies of which are contained in their own Islamic Religious Texts.
